I am back in Florida and OM9ACA is QRT, at least until
next year.  I had not fully appreciated before this
trip how much more favorable the propogation is here
in Florida than at most other QTHs.  I had a general
feeling that conditions here were better than at my
old QTH in New Orleans, and the Europe trip seemed to
confirm this.  Using the same equipment and better
antennas, it was a struggle to work stateside most
days, and only late at night.  In Florida, I can work
Europe almost any day.

Guess we are lucky to be in Florida.
