Hi Bill,

In the recent SE Division E-mail news Frank Butler, W4RH stated he is not
seeking another term as Division Director. He also noted that several
people have expressed an interest in running for the position.

I will be a candidate for the position of Southeastern Division Director.

As Southern Florida Section Manager I have kept the lines of communication
open for the members, promoted the hobby and service aspects of amateur
radio, and tried to include the interests of all hams. I would continue to
do this at the Board level where I would have a direct vote on the issues
important to Amateur Radio, the ARRL and the members. I will continue to
keep members informed via regular Division newsletters.

My work on the ARRL Public Relations Committee has given me a valuable,
national perspective of the ARRL. I have visited hamfests in other states,
not just Dayton, and met with clubs and members. The concerns and questions
of hams in all areas are similar and each has a local perspective that is
important.

My bio is posted at QRZ.com and I will have a separate campaign web page in
the near future.

May I can count on you for your support in publicizing my candidacy?

Thank you for all that you do on behalf of Amateur Radio.

73 es GUD DX,
Sherri Brower, W4STB
