[South Florida DX Association] SFDXA Meeting

The Bi-Monthly meeting was held last night. A great group of about 20 
Members and guests were in attendance.

Some had dinner in the cafeteria before the meeting.

Steve W4DTA convened a very good meeting. A number of club projects were 
discussed including this Saturday's raising of the TH11DX to the top of the 
HF tower . (Saturday 10 AM)

Project 2 discussed is the enhancement of the repeater to include a new 
control board. The board will enable us to have better control over the 
repeater. It will also allow Voice & CW announcements as well as the 
inclusion of a UHF repeater.

We will further discuss a club DX Dinner in the very near future as it does 
not appear that Miami Hamboree will take place this year.

Members were asked to talk about their most interesting DX Contact and quite 
a few gave the highlights of some of their best contacts over the years.

The next meeting will be held in March where the new slate of Officers and 
Directors will be seated... There may even be a New South Florida DX Hog 
crowned(?) at that meeting.
