[South Florida DX Association] ARRL Vice Director candidacy

Hi Bill,

After many years of service to the ARRL Field Organization, many of you

have urged me to run for the Board of Directors. I'm pleased to announce my

candidacy for Vice Director in the Southeastern Division. Meeting with you

at hamfests, club meetings, picnics & Field Day sites, I have heard your

concerns about the present & future of Amateur Radio. The Board level is the

place to effect change in League policy & direction & I plan to partner with the

new Director to put forth such positive change based on your input. Our incumbent

Director, Frank Butler, W4RH, is retiring after 28 years of service to the ARRL board

& you will elect a new Director as well. I have personally worked with all the candidates

for Director & feel this working relationship will continue with the new Southeastern

Division team. I am asking for your support & vote when you receive your ballot from
