South Florida DX Association Members,
The 2007 Hurricane Season is rapidly approaching. As many of you know,
Broward County ARES/RACES members man the American Red Cross Hurricane
Evacuation Shelters and the North Broward Hospital District facilities and
Special Care facilities. These facilities are listed below. We are looking
for Amateur Radio Operators to work in these facilities. If you can work in
one of these facilities please contact Assistant Emergency Coordinator Jeff
Depew at j4244 at aol.com.
Below the list of facilities is some info such as the equipment requirements
and emergency net frequencies and times.
Thanks,
