[South Florida DX Association] HNY and January Meeting

Hello all,

First, on behalf of your 06-07 SFDXA board of directors let me express that
we wish you all the best for 2007, especially great DXing.  This year we
have accomplish allot as a club, including a successful dx forum and dx
dinner at the Miami hamfest, the re-installation of the repeater tower after
suffering damage due to Hurricane Wilma (thank you all of you for your
donations), which has help increase the repeater footprint, and the purchase
of a new HF antenna to help replace the old TH6 that came down during the
hurricane.

The current board is working toward a smooth transition with the new
2007-2008 board, and there are a lot of new things in the works already by
the new board members to help us improve the club and what we offer to our
members. So I will like you all to give the new incoming board the same
support that you have provided us in the past.

Our 2007 meeting is on January 10 ***(second Wednesday of January)****, so
come on and join us, the theme for this meeting will be "My best DX
experience", so be prepared to share with each of us a 1 to 2 minute story
about your best dx contact, and if you have an odd and rare qsl card to
escort the story, bring it along.

As always, the SFDXA invite you all to join us on January 10, the group
starts to get together usually around 6:00 pm in the Florida Medical Center
cafeteria, supper is just $7 wish goes to the club funds, then our regular
schedule meeting starts at 7:33 pm.
