It is with great sadness that I announce Dan W2NDP ( ex WA2NDP) became a SK
this evening.  

 

Dan was a long time DX'er with 314 countries confirmed. He was a was a
founding member and President of the Mid Florida DX Association (W4FDX). He
was also a member STARC (W4HSO) in Hillsborough County. He was a DXCC card
checker, Volunteer Examiner, LIDXA, South FL DX Assoc., QCWA, FISTS and many
other organizations and clubs.  He will be missed by all.

 

Dan had many friends around the world because of Amateur Radio.

 

Dan was the QSL MGR for W4FDX. If you have worked the club station recently
it will be a few weeks before we meet to discuss who will try to fill Dan's
position.

 

Our prayers go out to his wife Ellen and family.
