[South Florida DX Association] Sad news to report from Aves.

To all,

I received sad news from the crew at Aves, long time friend Jose YV5LIX suffered a hart attack at around 4:00 am YV time, the  Medical Doctors (YV5EED and YV5IVB) with the group could not resusitate Jose.

As you all can imagine, the group is under shock with this, the navy sent the ship's helipcopter to the Island to pick up Jose's body and Ramon YV5EED is flying back to the ship which will take the body back to Caracas.

My understanding is that the group got authorization to use YX0LIX as a tribute to Jose. I am still trying to get over the news, and at the same time pass the word around regarding the situation as you might all have seen spots all over the clusters.
