AMATEUR RADIO OPERATORS TO COMMEMORATE THE 25TH SILVER ANNIVERSARY OF THE 
FIRST SPACE SHUTTLE LAUNCH!

Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral, FL, April 1, 2006 -- Members of the 
Titusville  and the  North Brevard  Amateur Radio Clubs  will be perform a 
week of Amateur Radio operating from April 9 thru 15 at the Florida Space 
Authority facility at the Kennedy Space Center/ Cape Canaveral Air Force 
Station complex.

Operators will make radio contact worldwide to celebrate America's 
successful Space Shuttle Program. Thru these contacts operators will 
increase the awareness  and accomplishments of the many NASA men and women 
of space technology.

The Federal Communications Commission has authorized a special call sign, 
N4S, (NASA for Space), for this occasion. To commemorate this special event, 
a 25th Anniversary Certificate will be sent to each amateur radio operator 
worldwide if requested with a S.A.S.E.

Operating information: April 9 thru 15 starting at 9 a.m. ET throughout each 
day.  Frequencies (MHz.): 21.350 18.150 14.250 7.250. Visit the event web
