Bruce: Please relay this to all our members.

I have been up to the hospital and the we have sustained a lot of damage.
The beam antenna is missing half of each element and the pieces are not even
on the roof. The real bad news is that the large tower is down and
destroyed. The antennas for both the 33 and SEDAN systems are totaled.
The 7/8 inch lines CAN be saved. I am leaving to go up there now to salvage
what I can. The problem was that we had guy wire failure. These guys were
never really good enough in the first place. We can put a standby antenna
on the other tower when we decide to do so. For the time being, I am
disabling all of the machines up there since there are no antennas anyway.
I have an almost new Commercial Celwave Stationmaster, factory cut for
142-150 MHz, that I can lend the club until we figure out what we are going
to do.
