Years ago there was a unit built by Hal that many of the older members of
the club will recognize as the "Red Eye". It was a small tuning indicator
that the guys all bought in droves. I still have two of these myself.

It enabled you to zero beat a CW signal and if you were into RTTY it showed
leds that made it a snap to tune in a rtty signal. I just found one of these
on eBay and while I am not in favor of posting eBay items on the club
reflector I thought might interest someone in the chance they have been
looking for one.
