John, my name is Jerry Brunning.  You knew my father, who is also  named 
Jerry Brunning (K9BG), from the Northern Illinois DX Association.   I'm writing 
with the sad news that my father passed away on Christmas  morning.  Jerry has 
had cancer (carcinoid tumors in the small intestine and  appendix) since 1997 
which progressed quickly over the past 6 months.  He  died in Indiana 
University hospital in Indianapolis
