Seasons Greetings.
              Namaskar,

We are happy to inform you that National Institute of Amateur Radio
(NIAR), Hyderabad, India is sponsoring family of Mrs. D. Bharathi
Prasad, VU2RBI ,(her husband and her son are both hams and part of the
expedition team) along with 2 other Hams Mr. S.Ram Mohan, VU2MYH and
Mr. Sarath Babu VU3RSB to Andaman & Nicobar Islands Dxpedition which
will be launched on 3rd December 2004.

NIAR is extending complete amateur radio equipments and some monetory
support & its resources to maximum possible extent to ensure a
successful Dxpedition. The initial estimates suggest the cost of this
dxpedition would require in excess of US $ 20,000/- for a period of
one month. We are happy friends like Mr.Charlie, K4VUD has taken early
initiatives resulting in some commitments.

As we are not given much advance notice to prepare for this
dxpedition, we could not attract any single largest sponsor for this
event or sufficient funds to this date.

We appreciate any monitory support for this event from equipment
manufacturers or Clubs/Institutions or individuals for this event
which can be routed through NIAR.

If any one wants to contribute money for this Dx-pedition, you can
send them in the form of Cheque infavor of "Director, National
Institute of Amateur Radio" payable at Hyderabad, India.
