Norm,

There is a coordinated repeater on 147.165 in West Palm
Beach WB4FPB. How can you get on that freq? What has the
Fl. Repeater Council said about it all?

Subject: [South Florida DX Association] Repeater North

| SFDXA Members,
| Today the process of getting a repeater operational in the
Jupiter area
| began. The site is the AM (1000kHz) radio station in
Jupiter, the antenna has been
| set up at about 300ft mark. It is on the North side of
the tower to favor
| stations further North and to the West. The frequency is
147.165/765 and PL
| code 114.8hz and the call will be WA4FAP/R.
|
| It will be a few days before we get things programed and
retuned. The plan
| for "linking" to .33/.93 will be via internet. The site
has a hi-speed line
| available which will facilitate the connection to our FMC
site. The FMC site
| will need to add the necessary interface hardware and
connections to complete
| this link.
|
| Regards,
| Norm W4QN
