[South Florida DX Association] TowerParty at W8WW March 14th

Today I talked to Sharon, the widow of W8WW.  She has agreed
that we can take the tower down and haul it away on Sunday
March 14th.  Her only request is that if we don't want the
other (big-heavy) tower, that we haul it out to the street
where the county can remove it.   Many hands will make light
work of all this.

She is donating the Rohn tower, tailtwister rotor, KLM 10
meter yagi, 6 meter yagi, gin pole, 3 new climbing belts and
other associated stuff to the club for our efforts.  We only
have to give her a letter of thanks for the IRS with some
reasonable numbers for the value of the donation.

I have directions and the code to the gate.  The house is
located about 1/2 mile north and 1 mile west of the Lake
Worth exit of the turnpike.  The address and directions will
be forthcoming to all who will be helping.

At this point, I have the following committments:

Tower climbers:   K4LM,   N4QV  &  NY4PD

Ground Crew:   N8PR,  W2CQ,  W3AZD

Maybes are:  KC4VU,  W4DTA and others.   Mark,  It's a
Sunday, can you help?

Please let me know if you can help.  This is a big project
for the club, and can make us some good money to help with
our repeater expansion plans.

I would like to get at least 4-5 more ground crew to help
woth the tower section moving, loading etc.
