[South Florida DX Association] Club Meeting

Hi to all,
          Today March 3rd 2004 has been the SFDXA club meeting which interm
we had a total number of 24-members should up at the meeting, this was a
very good turn tonight.

Today we had:

 N8PR-Pete, N4GM-Grant, W4DTA-Steve and NY4PD-Brian arrived at the meeting
location at 6.00pm to help Grant-N4GM of load the new 7/8" Hardline,  and
took it up to the club station, which was well done.   Thanks to N4GM-Grant
for bringing down the Hardline from Orlando Florida and storing it at his
home for the time till today.....thank you guys on the behalf of the club.

Topics: Bill-W2CQ whom was the past club president of the SFDXA has now past
over the judge Gavel to W4DTA-Steve whom is now the SFDXA club President,
Congrats Steve and good luck, on the  behalf of the club.


DX-Dinner at the Miami Hamfest:

W4DTA-Steve has counted a total of about 30 people to be at the DX-Dinner
about 4.00pm but it turn out to be a great show total number of about 50
people at the dinner we all had fun and lot of eats....as well
drinks.....thanks to all who showed up..on behalf of the SFDXA club.



The SFDXA club has thank:  N8PR-Pete, VE3NGW-Chris and KB2TZ-Elliot for all
there help and support in getting the repeater in better working condition
for the future.

Future: SFDXA plans is getting a repeater link further north in Florida to
cover further distance and also to help the Northern members get into the
repeater alot better.



Note: Motorola Free Flea is coming up soon: March 27th make note bring all
the goodies ...hi hi....



Next Meeting : May 5th.



I want to thank all you for coming to the meeting and also special thanks to
W2CQ-Bill for guiding W4DTA-steve on carrying out this meeting tonight.
