"...Hi guys and gals,

I want to let you know about a new freeware rig control program. Ham Radio
Deluxe is being developed by Simon Brown - HB9DRV  assisted by Peter Halpin
- PE1MHO  Currently support is provided for most of the newer ICOM line of
HF transceivers. Development started with the new IC-703. Support has now
been added for some Yaesu rigs,  with Kenwood, K2, TenTec and others to be
added later. (The program is in English)

Beta version 1 (build 132) was officially released today. Members of the
Ham Radio Deluxe users group have been testing preview versions of HRD for
almost 2 months. This is a well developed program despite the short time it
has been in available.
