Most of the newer Windows based (and some DOS based) electronic logging
programs contain a Telnet / DX Cluster connection as one of their features.
Just set up the menu item, pick a node and you are all set. Several of the
SFDXA members are using the following 2 nodes and will switch between them
if one goes down. I have 2 separate computers connected to the internet at
the same time so you might see me connected to both nodes at the same time.
KN4F (N4GM, W4BP, NY4PD, N8PR, W4OX, W1RG, WA4YLD, W4DTA)
N5IN (N4GM-1, W2CQ, W4UM, W4BP)
If you use the same node you can exchange "Talk" messages.
If you do not use an electronic logging program you can still use the Telnet
/ DX Cluster spotting system and there are several popular programs.
DX-Telnet (by IK4VYX) is the program Bill, W2CQ, has listed in his post and
I also have used this excellent program for several years. I have recently
found another Telnet program that is also excellent and here is the URL.
http://www.ve7cc.net This is an AR-Cluster User Program (by VE7CC)
Just click on the above link, follow instructions and you will be all set.
This program is free and requires no registration fee. For the more
advanced users there are alot of additional features including Spot
Origination and Spot Location filter settings.
There is also a complete AR-Cluster Users Manual (by AB5K) listing all
commands, filter settings, etc. So, come join us on one of the above listed
nodes and have some fun chasing / spotting DX.

This is the one I use and have used it for many years. It is
