Hi Jeff - I just moved to Sewall's Point from Plantation where I had a multi
2 station with a very large antenna farm, including phased yagis and well as
a 2 element 80M beam, on two large towers (Fred recently had the tower party
pix in the Gazette).  All was sold to FCG members by my "spam" messages.
The "five or six messages" you refer to were responded to by over 30 FCG
members, with several of the items having over six members wanting to buy
it.  BTW, everything ever listed was for contesting and everything I have
listed has sold to FCG members, including Dan, Jeff (not you), Jim, Blake,
John, Eric, Jay, Steve, Ron, Biff, Paul, Bill, Kevin, Scott, Charly, George,
Bob, Pete, Vic, Grant, Bruce, Joe, Dave (I might have left some out).
That's a fairly large percentage of club members that now own pre-owned
"used junk" from W4UM.  I am height-challenged and space-challenged here in
Sewall's Point and I want the FCG members to have first shot.  I price my
"junk" for FCG members (it must be priced fairly because it is always
scooped up right away).  I know I can sell it on eBay, and probably for a
lot more, but I'd like to see the good stuff stay "in the family" since I
take very good care of my "junk."  My large vintage collection is posted on
eBay because it is not contest related.  I am sorry you're "sick and tired"
but I plan on listing more items in the future.  I'll try to group them
together so that when you my call you can quickly delete the message without
having to actually read it.  Now that we are nearly neighbors, I hope to see
you at a FCG meeting in the future.
