[SFDXA] Miami Hamboree

Miami Hamboree Information:

WIOD will have the booth next to us. They are doing a remote Saturday Morning from 6 to 8 AM. Stephen J Gray, will MC his Show
called Miami Magazine. It was formerly called Toys For Boys.

So for you early Birds turn on your radios. Who knows maybe they will interview one of our members.

On another note:
 I have received a number of inquiries about placing items on tables. Don W3AZD I worked out a small space on the DX table for
perhaps 6 radios for sale ( we will stack one or two of these). It will be in a corner of the table out of the way of the Card
Checking and W4 QSL Buro chair. Paid Members only. Remember you must email me. The tables are gratis to the Club and we do not want
to jeopardize our status with the Hamboree. We are Guests and it should not look like a swap table. If the radios take up too much
room then Don will exchange them occasionally. One each! Total 6.

If you have a radio you want to sell it is first come first serve in an email to me!

The rules are "Radio only!" No books, manuals, wires cables or mikes. They can be placed in a box clearly labeled in the back of the
SFDXA Booth area. A clear price on the radio showing what you will sell it for and your call sign. Please do not expect Don or
anyone to try to reach you or answer questions. He can not negotiate for you or take responsibility for it. In return please plan on
helping man the booth and give some assistance to future members and DXers. Don needs a break too!

We will have a sign up sheet for SFDXA Membership. This is our time to Shine...This is our way to promote the club for New
Membership. Please each of you take it on yourself to give a hand at the booth and offer membership information to anyone asking
questions or assistance.

DX Forum will begin at 10:30 AM. Dan Street K1TO will be first Speaker. There will be Door Prizes at various times during the Forum.
Al Hernandez K3VN will be the second Speaker and Bill Moore from the ARRL Will be the final Guest Speaker.
