Well the time has come again, and The South Florida DX Association is very
proud to be hosting the DX Forum at this year's Miami Tropical Hamboree
 on February 1st.

We are pleased to announce the Speakers for DX Forum on Saturday morning in
the Playhouse: Al Hernandez K3VN , who has been on so many terrific
DX-Peditions its hard to name them all, will speak on the recent ZL7C
DX-Pedition. We will hear the first presentation of that highly successful
trip. Second, we are proud to have Dan Street K1TO, President of the
Florida Contest Group speak to us about his recent unprecedented third win
of the WRTC event in Finland.

We also will give away some fantastic prizes (*) thanks to the following
sponsors:
The Hamstation in conjuntion with the MFJ guys. (www.hamstation.com)
Cubex (www.cubex.com)
The Flying Callbook (http://www.callbook.com/)
The Daily and Weekly DX (http://www.dailydx.com)

And back by popular demand, is the "Gathering of Friends," a.k.a.
the DX Dinner, and this year it will be in association with the Florida
Contest Group.

Dinner will be at the Casa Paco Restaurant private party room located on
8868 SW 40st,
just few blocks away from the hamfest (HAMFEST CASUAL ATTIRE, Great low
priced food too and a course plenty of Cervezas).

Dont miss The DX "Happy Hour" Cocktail Party in our private room at the
restaurant from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm, and DXCC cards will be checked
before
dinner starts promptly at 6:30 pm. If you attended last years feast, you
sure know that this
is an event that you cannot miss.

Even if you can't stay for dinner, come to the Cocktail Party and have an
807 (or a 4-400A) with your friends.
There will be several great door prizes given out during the cocktail party
and through out dinner as well.

There is no fixed dinner menu or minimum price - order what you want from
the Cuban menu (yes, it's in English and Spanish) and you pay for your
separate check.

need further assistance the frequency is 147.330 (simplex). See you there!
