One day left for those not having done so, to let me know they are coming and how many guests, to the September 3rd Meeting at the
museum. Ed will be giving the head count to the Caterer Thursday Morning so I have until tomorrow night to give him the numbers.
This will be one of the largest attended events for our club and you will not want to miss it. Doors will open at 7 and please be
prompt. Ed will be showing and talking about his cars and you will not want to miss that. That will be not long after we arrive.

"The September 3rd Meeting of the South Florida DX Association will be held at the Dauer Classic Car Museum and the doors will open
at 7 PM. The address is 10801 N.W. 50 St., Sunrise. Take Commercial all the way West to Hiatus Rd., go South 2 blocks to 50th
street, go Right (west) one Block. If you are coming by way of the Sawgrass there is a Commercial Blvd exit. Go East to the light
which should be Hiatus and then 2
blocks South etc. Plenty of parking in front and on the street.
Member Emeritus Ed Dauer WB4HNM, has graciously invited us to hold our meeting at his Private Automobile Museum in Sunrise Florida.
This will be a social meeting and Ed and Joanne will be providing beverages and light refreshments. Ed has long collected Rare and
Classic Autos and a few years ago assembled them in a Private Museum not open to the Public. It can be seen at
www.dauerclassiccars.com . Many restored Antique & Rare Classic Automobiles are displayed. There is also a 1930's Gas Station
reassembled in the large building. Murals on the wall depicting events and scenes from the times as well as a Drive-in Theater.
This will be a very Special Event for The South Florida DX Association. It is open to SFDXA Club Members and their Guests. Bring
your wife or husband. You may also bring guests and prospective members. If you are on this list and do not know a Member send me an
email. I anticipate a large turnout so plan ahead. You will be amazed at the wonderful Museum and Collection Ed and Joanne have
assembled.
I will need a count of how many are coming so please send me an email if you plan to attend and if you have a guest/s.
Ed has long been the patron of this club and provides the location for our Club Shack & Repeater and other unseen Club Support.. We
are most thankful for this invitation and I know we all will look forward to it.
