[SFDXA] nominations for Officers/Directors for 2003

SFDXA Members:

The next meeting of the SFDXA will be next Wednesday, November 6. 2002,
at the Broward Medical Center auditorium.  The meeting starts at 7:33
PM, however there will be a DXpedition video that starts about 6:33
and the cafeteria is available for supper before 6 PM if you wish to
join in.  Dinner proceeds go to to the Club as a donation thanks to Ed
Dauer WB4HNM Member Emeritus.

So far the incumbant officers have all offered their services for the
coming year, leaving the Board of Directors nominees yet to be chosen.

If you are interested in running for Director, or would like to nominate
another for that office be sure to attend the meeting.

At this meeting we will choose the names to be on the ballot.  The
ballots will be mailed after January 1, 2003.   Ballots received will
then be counted and the new officers announced at the Miami Tropical
Hamboree during the DX Forum on February 1st, 2003.

WE4B will tell us about IRLP and what is happening in the Broward 
County/South Florida area on this topic.

W1RG has recently installed a FluidMotion Steppir 3 el yagi, and will 
give us his observations of this new antenna.
