[SFDXA] Florida Contest Group will hold a 4-hour Contesting Seminar

The Florida Contest Group will hold a 4-hour Contesting Seminar at the 
Florida State Convention, being held in Palmetto, December 7.

The seminar will begin with contesting fundamentals and work up to more 
complex topics.

The preliminary schedule is as follows:

10:00 - 10:10  Introduction (K1TO)
10:10 - 10:40  Getting Started in Contesting video (need VCR!)
10:40 - 11:00  Contesting in Dominica (K5KG)
11:00 - 11:20  Contesting from Curacao (WC4E)
11:20 - 11:40  Lightning protection (K5KG)
11:40 - 12:10  WRTC 2000 film (on CD)
12:00  Pizza delivery - open to everyone, sponsored by the FCG
12:10 - 12:30  Florida QSO Party (WD4AHZ)
12:30 - 1:00  How to operate the ARRL 10-Meter Contest (panel)
1:00 - 2:00  FCG meeting


Anyone with an interest in Amateur Radio Contesting, is invited to 
attend any, or all presentations.
