Mark, I have an old 2mhz marine am rcvr in a corner here .... seems to
be a RCA AR-8712 with direction finder.

It has 3 scales on the dial:

1. Beacon ........ .20 to .415
2. Broadcast ..... .55 to 1.6
3. Marine ............ 1.7 to 3.4

I guess it is at least 40 years old ...... all tubes ...... havn't fired
it up in at least 10 years probably .. I used to use it mainly to listen
to football games in the shack on the AM band.... good luck with your
research...... 73, John, W4GD
