Gang,

The request for support was successful we received enough to fund us into
early next year and I appreciate all the help you gave. Many of you wrote
offering suggestions and ideas for helping this continuing struggle to pay
the phone company. LOL I think something will need to be done but I don't
know what yet. I welcome suggestions and your ideas.

I will be out of the country for the next month, I leave at 6am tomorrow
and will return on September 18th. I will be on Andros Island (grid FL14,
IOTA NA001) and will be operating as C6ALW. Primary operation will be in 6
meters but will have all bands 40-6. After I get the station up I will let
you know a time and freq and maybe I can work some of you.

I do have access to the servers remotely but it is not as efficient as
being home with all the tools to use. If anything breaks we will fix it but
there may be delays, I will be getting my e-mail regularly but I will be
slow ( even more than usual ) responding.

The trip is work ( NASA) related involving the release of balloon payloads
to validate the calibration of NASA's new AIRS satellite. Research is in
the upper atmosphere (~100,000 feet) looking at Ozone and other gases as
well as temp, humidity etc.

I know what your thinking...." a month in the Bahamas" yes this is a tough
job but I am ready for it....LOL

73, Al
