[SDham] SD Ham License Plates

As you might know, SD is changing the vehicular license 
plates this year.

Mister Smarty ran down today to renew his tags, and found 
out that once you had renewed the "regular" license plate tags
and gotten your new plates, you must then copy the just-paid
vehicle registration, fill out SD form DMV-MV-SL1 (7/02)
and submit that along with a copy of your ticket, all wrapped
up with a ten dollar check mailed off to DMV in Pierre.

The new plates *do* look a lot better than the current offerings.
