[Scanner] FIRE CHIEF RESIGNS IN PART BECAUSE OF RADIO WOES

The same radio system expected to link all  public-safety units in Lucas 
County ultimately shut down communication between  Providence Township and its 
fire chief. 
Brett Hite, 40, resigned this week  as chief of the township fire department 
and its lone, full-time employee. He  was slated to make $40,000 this  year.
