[Scanner] EFJohnson to provide its Project 25 compliant radios

EFJ, Inc. (Nasdaq: EFJI)
announced today that  its EFJohnson subsidiary has received a $4 million
contract from a federal  agency. The contract calls for EFJohnson to provide
its Project 25 compliant  radios and repeaters, which will be used in
disaster relief efforts for the  upcoming hurricane season.
"Our mission is to provide  first responders with Project 25 compliant
communications solutions," said  Michael E. Jalbert, chairman and chief
executive officer of EFJ, Inc. "This  order fits in perfectly with our
mission. The customer will be using our  solutions to provide interoperable
emergency communications in disaster  relief situations," Jalbert  added.
