[Scanner] Trunk tracker programming

I have the same problem, I have two trunk-tracking
scanners, a BC 780XLT and a 796D.

I live in a small community on the west coast of
Florida, so only one Radio Shack, and definately
unable to program a scanner.

The County has a county-wide trunk-tracking system,
but do not have all the frequencies, and even if I did
no way to do anything with them.

I receive the main channels but not trunked ones.

I would also like to tie the two scanners together
with one antenna, possible?

I have a multi-freq discone antenna up about 60 feet.
