 Radio Shack also sells an "adjustable" antenna (telescopic) that you can extend if you wish to listen to frequencies lower than 800 mHz. I have personally used that center-loaded antenna to hear everything from WWV (10 mHz) to the weather (162 mHz) to the 800 mHz band!
