Using my R-7000 to detect Meteors! Works great on TV Channel 6 here in
westchester. I have a 69" dipole 34" above a ground mesh laying on my deck.
I use an R7000 tuned to 83.2507Mhz LSB. I turn the antenna to null out
Columbus, OH Channel #6 and this works FANTASTIC! Try it out...Current
meteor shower is gonna peak this Friday. Early mornings thru early afternoon
is best.

Know anyone can tell me the locations of all the channel #6's in nearby
states? I found one web site...looks like there are perhaps 2 in MI, some in
IN, KY and WV...

300miles is the required distance.
