[ScanIndiana] Is it Time for a new Scanner

I had a Friend in the Two Way Shop tell Me that Hammond In PD Who
upgraded the Old VHF System to a 3 Million Dollar 800Mhz Mot System 2
Trunking System  Just  3 Yrs ago ,  Will be switching over their Freqs
due to Rebanding which will be paid By Sprint 

Their old VHF  154.860 System worked 90 Percent better then the New one
,  He also told Me they would Be switching over to the Statewide  System
. I have not found the need or the Extra Money to upgrade My Scanner to
the New Digital Type ,

So what I need to know since I have not motored the New State System is
that Encrypted or in the Clear , I still have My Old Motorola System 90
Micor on  the 4 Freq 42 Mhz Scanning  Still hear a few  signals and Skip
