Justin Your Intentions are Good But it is Not Legal to transmit on any
freq without  being lic for or Authorized for Like PD FD Etc,  or being
with a Lic Ham Radio operator  who has the class of lic to transmit on
the freq You are on .  It is easy to get a Valid Ham Radio lic  now and
quality People like You and others are needed in the Hobby . 

Their was a similar case in the Mountains when a Ham or Someone had fell
and broke a leg he tried His Cell and all the Ham freqs  but could not
get it to work.  He then tuned in the Local Co Sheriff and was able to
call for assistance which He got and His Equipment was taken and He was
charged. Would I of did the same Thing Absolutely.

Better Tried by 12 then carried by 6
