>Justin,Thanks for your e-mail,A Duke Energy truck was seen by me last Friday at Boone Village Shopping Center on SR 334 west of Zionville while I was getting my haircut.Had a center loaded antenna on top of the truck which looked like it when in the 451Mhz area. These frequencys were active for a while a then they went 800Mhz.800 mhz frequencies along with the 451Mhz frequencies have been checked and nothing was heard, silent,Could they be using NEXTEL with the walkie talkie feature now for their communications,Can anyone help us out on finding them? Please advise,Thanks Tim DeLong Ham Radio Operator W9NES Indianapolis

A little over a year ago, I was receiving a new talkgroup on the Cinergy
TRS (now Duke Energy)
here in southwestern Ohio. The units I heard talking were in the
Zionville and Noblesville areas,
as I traced down the street names they were giving out. I don't know how
they were linking to the TRS here.
The TRS only covers the Cincinnati area as far as I know. Not that this
helps you much, but I heard what I heard.

Doing an FCC db lookup I have found these listed for that area.

451.075/456.075 25w, 6045 West State Road 38, New Castle, IN
451.075/456.075 25w, 1000 East Main St, Plainfield, IN
451.150/456.150 25w, 21225 Riverwood Ave., Noblesville, IN

464.9125 2w Marion County
469.9125 2w Marion County

You might give these a try, and let us all know here whether you catch
anything on them or not.
