In the book for my PR4700WX you scroll through the Mode Functions;
  Set CTCSS Privacy Codes
  Set DCS Privacy Codes
  Set NOAA All Hazards Radio Channel
  Set VoX On/Off
  Set VoX Sensitivity Level
  Set Memory Locations
  Set Channel Scan
  Set CTCSS Privacy Code Scan
  Set DCS Privacy Code Scan
  Set Memory Location Scan
  Set VibrAlert and/or Call Alert
  Set Call Alert Tone Signal
  Set Roger Beep On/Off            <= Here's the culprit
  Set Keystroke Tones On/Off

When the Roger Beep is flashing, press the up or down channel button and the
On switches to Off and vice versa.

Anybody who knows this information not only about this radio but
ANY FRS/GMRS please post it here.   Those of us who use these
radios for tactical communications in Paintball and Lasertag
are getting sick of having our positions being given away by that
damnable noise (the roger beep).  I can forward it on through
those forums as needed, but certainly valid information from
this group is a good place to start.

Does anybody know how to disable the Roger Beep on a Cobra Microtalk model
PR150-2 VP GMRS/FRS ? Cobra said they didn't know how to do it, I'm hoping
there's a hack out here that might help out a "Roger Beep" is a very
annoying beep each time you unkey the the PTT. any thoughts or experience
out there.
