[ScanIndiana] Radio Shack scanner programming

Rob,
The cable is available at RadioShack. The software must be purchased
from StarrSoft. It is $30 but does let you do a trial version. The cable
for the scanner is a serial port cable. If you only have USB ports then
you will have to get a serial to usb adapter which is another $30 from
Staples. It is easy to do. I just picked a bank, typed in the
frequencies for Peru SAFE-T system and selected motorola as the
trunking system. You will see when you load the software that it is
fairly easy. If you need more assitance when you acquire the cable and
software let my know.
