[ScanIndiana] (no subject)

I am looking to purchase a new scanner. Any ideas on the best type of
equipment. I know thing are changing day by day any more. I currently
have a hand held sports cat 100-channel unit. Each time the police
change something I have to lock out that Freq. and turn the one from the
day before back on. They are on the trunk tracking system. I know
several are looking at going digital. I'm now big on updating my
equipment every year. I have been a scanner head for about 40 years. Way
back to the old am fm with police band radios. Will a table top unit
pick up any better than a hand held?
