EDACS is one of several types of trunking. Motorola and LTR are examples of
others. If you are trying to program in a trunked system, the type must
match the type the system you are trying to listen to uses.
If you are not trying to listen to a trunked system, you don't need to be
concerned with this.
Another item it whether or not the system you are trying to listen to is
digital or analog. You must have a digital-capable scanner to listen to
digital. Analog is no problem. There are also different types of digital
encoding. APCO25 is the only one scanners are able to listen to.
What type of scanner do you have?
Can you be more specific on what is Corydon, IN you are trying to listen to?
Please also specify county.
