[ScanIndiana] scanners illegal in cars!!!!!

Just to throw in my two cents for what its worth....
It has been my experience when stopped on routine
traffic stops and having a scanner in the vehicle, it
is the officers decision at that point as to how he
may handle it. Law or no law, you can have your
scanner confiscated. Then you have to go to where ever
that officer is dispatched from to get it back. Even
with an amateur license, you should keep a copy of the
Indiana Scanner Law in your vehicle. I have the
section on amateur operators highlighted.
