I am a newbie so if I am not exactly correct, please forgive and correct me.

When city or township firefighters refer to "fire talik group" they usually
mean 3280 which http://www.indyscan.com/trunk/meca1-t.htm
has recently corrected to read:
CTY-FIRE - INDIANAPOLIS IFD - COUNTYWIDE IFD & TWP SINGLE APPARATUS
It is also used for 2 apparatus fie incidents. It is used as the
fireground when less than a full alarm is sent and for when most units are
released when the fire is out.

I do not have a list of apparatus for each box.

There is a Box Map for Pike township at
http://www.piketwp.com/webpikefire/map.cfm
The first 2 numbers of the box corresponded to the closest station number.
For example Box 1132 iss closest to Pike Twp station 11, which is now
Station 111. The third digit is the next closest station, in the example
Box 1132, the second closest station is Pike station 3, old number 13,
current three digit station number 113. The fourth digit is the third
closest station. For Box 1132 the third closest station is Pike station 2,
old number 12, current 3 digit station number 112.

I do not know if IFD or the other townships work that way or not.

Thanks, Dan
