Oops, I hope we're not getting into one of those "my scanner's better =
than
your scanner" thing here (big grin!). On the 296, when you're =
programming a
Motorola 800 TRS using control channel trunking, it needs to know the =
band
plan of the system. There are 4 rather broad ones to choose from. If =
you
want to check it out, you can download a manual from
http://www.uniden.com/pdf/BC296Dom.pdf and go to page 49.
Anyway, it was my programming error, and it's working fine now, picked =
up a
lot of interesting stuff last night!

I don't really get this "plan" thing...with my PRO-93,
PRO-95, PRO-2053, and PRO-96, all I need to do is put
the Moto control freq in, in MO mode with the Bank in
MO mode, and hit scan...
You need to tell the Unidens what? I thought that only
EDACS had a "plan..."
