       Many people forget that Remote Broadcast links, such as "NBC Sports on 
450,455MHZ" in a recent posting is just as "illegal" as monitoring cell phone 
calls, under ECPA '86.  Enough clout to make it illegal, not enough clout to 
get it blocked in scanners.  

       Aimed more at preventing one TV station from using the "efforts and 
equipment" of another station's ENG for a second station's "scoop" for the mere 
cost of a scanner.  It happened.  Even so, I wouldn't advertise it out loud!  
Many people don't even know, remember, or care, this part was slipped into 
ECPA '86.
