Rob, everyone...a recent visit to my old stomping
grounds just north of Allen County has CONFIRMED that
the Allen County Digital TRS is STILL a 3600 baud
non-encrypted system. The county jail uses the system
in analog mode. Heard all digital traffic in the clear
on FWPD North, South, Allen County PD Dispatch, and a
few other talkgroups...

Picked up great from the Country Hearth Inn in Auburn,
and most other places I went...never actually MADE it
to Ft. Wayne, but I didn't need to!

It was good to hear Fort Wayne once again!

Already had a guy on trunkedradio.net say that he was
in Ft Wayne in June
and heard everything just fine on the system with his
BC250 so I'm not
concerned anymore... It sounds pretty clear that this
is a 3600-baud
non-encrypted.
