Drat. I was going to drive down there, and see if the ISR radio
frequencies were active. My plan was to sit in the park area with a
sandwich and coke, and see what I could hear on a search.

No kidding. I live right down the street, and have been searching for
months. I KNOW they have base security, because I can hear Johnson County
Sheriff referring to them. Surely they have to have radios.
I have been searching every 2 weeks for a 406.000-420.000 trunked radio
system. I'm hoping that now that the base is activated, they may put one
in.

I know. Isn't that great? It is almost like a ghost town. Whenever I
drive through there though I'm always worried I will get shot at by an
errant hunter....

I'll have to check that out!

I don't follow the air events too much, but I know others on this list do.
Hopefully someone on here will give the list a "heads up".
