I am thinking of attending the Grissom Airshow on Sunday. Does anyone have
the current ANG 'presets' or other freqs for Grissom these days, including
ground operations?

The airshow is both Sat and Sunday, but the Thunderbirds will only fly on
Sunday, aaround 3pm. They are apparently at Selfridge AFB, MI, on Saturday.
Does anyone know whether they will do a practice at Grissom, and
approximately when?

The Grissom Aeroplex has an airshow recording at 765-689-9503, with a list
of some acts and statics. I assume their website also has some info. I
believe it is www.grissomairshow.com.

I'm thinking of going for at least the Sunday show, but maybe Sat also.
Any other mil listeners going to be around? Can I suggest using FRS
channel 6, PL 29 for making a contact? I'll try to carry an FRS radio while
there.

Please reply direct, as I only get the digest of scanindiana. I may leave
as early as Friday 6am for Peru, but Saturday morning is the most likely.

When here July 5 & 6, the T-Birds used the same channels they have been
using for the past several years. 141.85 and 143.85 are the most common.
I believe the www.grove-ent.com website has a complete list. I don't have
my own list handy right now, but will try to find and post before I leave.
