Coming east on I-70 and wanting to go north on I-65. Then I would recommend 
that you take I-465 north from I-70. Go past I-74 and then north of the 
56th Street exit you'll come upon northbound I-65 and you'll be on your way 
out of the Indy area. You could come downtown, take the West street exit 
and go north on it to I-65, but why go out of your way.
