You know, I never have really noticed, but I am pretty sure that they are
referring them back to the dispatch talk group.  In the city that would be
3216, in the county, 8016.  Actually the 3283 that you reference to is a
patch group ID.

I received an e-mail from a gentleman asking for clarification on what Talk
Group Marion County Fire uses when they move from a fireground to the "Fire
Talk Group".

Can someone confirm that it's 3283?

My monitoring of MECA is limited & I'm afraid I might give him the wrong
answer.
