Hey Everyone,
I would personally recommend the radioshack Pro-95 for anyone looking to upgrade or get started in scanning. I got mine for 199.00 plus tax. I have been very pleased with it's performance and ease of use. My local radioshack cloned all of the the local and surrounding freqs for me, so it was ready to use before I walked out the door. It scans a multitude of freqs and trunked signals. The included rubber duck antenna does very well and the scanner has all the bells and whistles you might need or want as far as I'm concerned. I wish you all success and fun with your scanning!
