Works fine for them in Angola...  Some 40 miles to the north...  Spoke to
one of their officers during our Sheriffs funeral, they could communicate
quite well...

It still doesn't do encripted transmissions...  Usually that is a part of
and the idea of going digital...  It would work for cordless digital 900 mhz
phones...
